Light painting and trail shooting can be a great for adding sense of scenic wonders to your low-light shots or nightshots. But for sheer prettiness, neither can match
a city or village scene with a parade of delicate starburst lights.
a city or village scene with a parade of delicate starburst lights.
This can be done by adding effects later in Adobe photoshop using a photoshop filter(prefer red giant knoll factory or topaz),but its quite simple to achieve the look in-camera.
All you need is a frame that contains small light sources, such as street lamps or car lights or in this case
a church.then to capture these as stars with low aperture, shooting at low apertures means using long shutter speeds to retain perfect exposure.
The no of stars and their shapes depends varies with lenses(design of aperture blades).
Photoshop is easy and best way to achieve any no of bursts in available shapes.
